What is GAMSAT?

The Australian Council for Educational Research (ACER) in collaboration with the Consortium of Graduate Medical Schools organises GAMSAT (Graduate Australian Medical School Admissions Test). Aiming for a career in the lucrative fields of Medicine, Dentistry or Pharmacy? GAMSAT is the first rung you wanna climb. It’ll ensure a berth in one of the several elite medical institutions across Australia, UK and Ireland.

Who can sit for GAMSAT?

Probably someone like YOU. Anyone holding a basic Bachelor’s Degree (or studying in the second last or final year) is eligible to apply. It is not mandatory for you to have a science major. Humanities students can also apply.

What is the GAMSAT test like?

So you know your Hydrocarbons and can spell out the ABCs of Kinematics in a jiffy. But can you tell how carbon bonding makes graphite slippery and diamond hard? Do you know how projectile motion makes a cricket ball travel far? Do you question how things happen? If yes, GAMSAT will be a stimulating experience.
